The personal information that we collect depends on the context of your interactions with us and the Services, the choices you make, and the products and features you use. The personal information we collect may include the following:

  • Names
  • Email addresses
  • Message content

We do not process sensitive personal information.

All personal information that you provide to us must be true, complete, and accurate, and you must notify us of any changes to such personal information.

Information Collected Automatically

We automatically collect certain information when you visit, use, or navigate the Services. This information does not reveal your specific identity (like your name or contact information) but may include device and usage information, such as your IP address, browser and device characteristics, operating system, language preferences, referring URLs, device name, country, location, information about how and when you use our Services, and other technical information. This information is primarily needed to maintain the security and operation of our Services, and for our internal analytics and reporting purposes.

The information we collect includes:

  • Log and Usage Data: Service-related, diagnostic, usage, and performance information collected when you access or use our Services. This may include your IP address, browser type, device information, and information about your activity on the website.
  • Device Data: Basic information about the device you use to access the website (e.g. device type, operating system, browser).
  • Approximate Location: Country or region inferred from your IP address. We do not collect precise GPS location data.

Like many businesses, we also collect information through cookies and similar technologies.

How We Use Your Information

We process your personal information for the following reasons:

  • To respond to your inquiries and provide you with requested information
  • To improve our website and Services
  • To protect our Services and prevent fraud
  • To comply with legal obligations

Legal Basis for Processing

Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we rely on the following lawful bases to process your personal information:

  • Pre-contractual measures and legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(b) and 6(1)(f) GDPR) — when you submit the contact form or otherwise reach out, we process the name, email, and message you provide so that we can respond to your inquiry. Submitting the form is treated as your request to be contacted, and we have a legitimate interest in being able to reply.
  • Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) — to secure the website (including via reCAPTCHA), prevent abuse, and analyse aggregated, non-identifying usage patterns to improve the site.
  • Consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) — for non-essential analytics and advertising cookies (including Google Ads conversion measurement and remarketing), where you can grant or withdraw consent at any time via the cookie preferences on this page.
  • Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR) — where processing is required by applicable law.

3rd Party Tracking Technologies

We use tracking and security technologies from:

  • Google Tag Manager — used to manage and deploy analytics and advertising scripts
  • PostHog — used to understand how visitors interact with the website (page views, navigation patterns)
  • Leadfeeder by Dealfront — used to identify organizations visiting the website based on business IP address data and to understand their browsing activity. Leadfeeder may process IP addresses and browser/device information. Use of Leadfeeder is subject to the Dealfront Privacy Center.
  • Google Ads — used for conversion measurement and remarketing, helping us understand whether visits result from our advertising and reach relevant audiences. Google Ads sets advertising cookies and processes your IP address and browser/device information. Use of Google Ads is subject to the Google Privacy Policy.
  • Google reCAPTCHA — used on the contact form to prevent spam and abuse. reCAPTCHA processes your IP address and browser/device information through Google. Use of reCAPTCHA is subject to the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

These technologies help us understand how visitors interact with our website, measure the effectiveness of our advertising, keep the site secure, and improve our Services. Advertising and analytics technologies only load after you give consent via the cookie banner, and you can withdraw that consent at any time below.

Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies (like web beacons and pixels) to access or store information. A cookie is a small text file that a website saves on your computer or mobile device when you visit the site.

We use cookies for the following purposes:

  • Essential cookies: Necessary for the website to function properly (e.g. remembering your cookie preference)
  • Analytics cookies: Help us understand how visitors and organizations interact with the website by collecting and reporting usage information (Google Tag Manager, PostHog, Leadfeeder by Dealfront)
  • Advertising cookies: Set by Google Ads to measure conversions and support remarketing — for example, recognising when a visit results from one of our ads

Most browsers allow you to refuse to accept cookies and to delete cookies. The methods for doing so vary from browser to browser. You can generally set your browser to not accept cookies or to notify you when you receive a cookie, giving you the chance to decide whether to accept it.

How Long We Keep Information?

We will only keep your personal information for as long as it is necessary for the purposes set out in this privacy notice, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law (such as tax, accounting, or other legal requirements).

When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymize such information, or, if this is not possible, we will securely store your personal information and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible.

How Do We Keep Your Information Safe?

We have implemented appropriate technical and organizational security measures designed to protect the security of any personal information we process. However, despite our safeguards and efforts to secure your information, no electronic transmission over the Internet or information storage technology can be guaranteed to be 100% secure, so we cannot promise or guarantee that hackers, cybercriminals, or other unauthorized third parties will not be able to defeat our security and improperly collect, access, steal, or modify your information.

Privacy Rights

In some regions (like the EEA, UK, and Canada), you have certain rights under applicable data protection laws. These may include the right:

  • To request access and obtain a copy of your personal information
  • To request rectification or erasure of your personal information
  • To restrict the processing of your personal information
  • To data portability (if applicable)
  • To object to the processing of your personal information
  • To withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent (this does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal)
  • To lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Poland, this is the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Urząd Ochrony Danych Osobowych, UODO)

You can make such a request by contacting us at hello@walerystasiak.com.

We will consider and act upon any request in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

Controls For Do-Not-Track Features

Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems and mobile applications include a Do-Not-Track ("DNT") feature or setting you can activate to signal your privacy preference not to have data about your online browsing activities monitored and collected. At this stage, no uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized. As such, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online.

Updates to Notice

We may update this privacy notice from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by an updated "Revised" date and the updated version will be effective as soon as it is accessible. If we make material changes to this privacy notice, we may notify you either by prominently posting a notice of such changes or by directly sending you a notification. We encourage you to review this privacy notice frequently to be informed of how we are protecting your information.

Review, Update, Delete Data

Based on the applicable laws of your country, you may have the right to request access to the personal information we collect from you, change that information, or delete it. To request to review, update, or delete your personal information, please contact us at hello@walerystasiak.com.
