My journey as a Mentor

Mentoring process

What’s my story?

I’ve always had a passion for teaching and sharing my knowledge and experience. In 2021, an opportunity arose for me to become a mentor at my Alma Mater.

Nowadays I’m a Mentor in the Mentoring UW program at the University of Warsaw and in The Mentoring Club.

I make it a point to work closely with my mentees, assisting them in identifying their strengths and weaknesses, setting goals, and developing action plans to achieve those objectives. Additionally, I offer feedback, share insights and experiences, and provide support and encouragement throughout their journey.

What is mentoring?

Mentoring involves guiding, advising, and supporting individuals who aim to develop specific skills, acquire knowledge, or address challenges in their personal or professional lives.

It’s a collaborative effort that hinges on a solid relationship grounded in trust and mutual respect. This process allows individuals to learn from experienced mentors, gaining the necessary knowledge, skills, and confidence to succeed.

Who is Mentor and who is Mentee?

A mentor is someone who offers guidance, support, and advice to a less experienced or knowledgeable person in a particular area. Typically, a mentor possesses greater experience, knowledge, and expertise in a specific field or industry than the mentee does. The role of a mentor is to aid the mentee in growing and developing their skills, knowledge, and abilities, enabling them to achieve their goals and realize their full potential.

On the other hand, a mentee is an individual who receives mentorship from a more seasoned person. A mentee usually seeks to gain from the mentor’s experience and knowledge to enhance their own skills, knowledge, and abilities. They depend on the mentor’s guidance and support to help them grow and reach their objectives.

Mentoring offers a fulfilling experience for both the mentor and the mentee.

Schedule a free mentoring session

Booking a mentoring session is simple. Just pick a date and time that suit you, and I’ll be available to meet with you over a video call.

In our session, we can talk about any issues or challenges you’re dealing with (product management, project management, marketing, personal development, time management). I’ll offer advice, support, and feedback to help you work through them.

These mentoring sessions are facilitated by The Mentoring Club.
